The Problem: Buying aged domains with Pagerank, is something relatively few people know how to do efficiently. Through the years, I’ve read so many different strategies about snatching high pagerank expiring domains, one complicated solution after another and they all have one thing in common, no one has made any sense pursuing because of time and complexity. That’s why I’ve not until recently purchased any expired domains.
Time is everything. As adults with full schedules, I think most of use can recognize the feeling of the days just flying by fast and we it’s just impossible to spend any more time on a task than necessary!
All the the hassle involved in buying aged domains always held me back from even considering following through with it, even though I knew there’s really good value in an aged domain compared to a brand new.
The Solution: The solution to this problem is a simple dimple software called PR Powershot that pretty much only has one button, but the amazing thing is that it actually works. I know there are many pieces of software out there promising the world and fail to deliver, however this one is different. You don’t even have to mess with proxies or anything else for that matter.
The expiring domains with pagerank found by PR Powershot, are returned in a spreadsheet. PR Powershot returns both fake and real Pagerank domains but by simply adding an extra column where it says either “real” or “fake” it’s easy to differentiate the good from the bad.
PR Powershot is by far not only the best solution I’ve found to this problem, but the only one that’s affordable and so simple baby can use it. Now I’m snatching at least a couple of expiring domains a week with minimal effort.
The Execution: Below is the exact steps in which I’m obtaining expiring aged domains. Beyond using PR Powershot, I’m also taking a couple of additional steps to verify that I’m not dealing with a fake PageRank domain.
Fake domains appear all the time and even if the software does a great job of weeding them out, I still want to be as certain as possible that I’m purchasing a domain with real PageRank.
…. Let’s do it.
Just Open up PR Powershot and it goes out on domain hunting automatically using Godaddy Auctions as the source. Let the program run until it’s finished, usually for about 15-20 minutes. Then you can find the spreadsheet containing all the domains in the catalog: “C:\prpowershot”
Sort the good ones out from the bad, the spreadsheet returned shows 3 columns:
- Pagerank Validity(Fake or Real)
Here are the Steps.
- Once you find something of interest, double check with www.rankchecker.com to make sure this domain has valid Pagerank. You will also find additional information there like age, number of backlinks and much more.
- One additional step that I always perform, is running the following into Google (replace domain.com with your domain): info:domain.com
I do this because if the domain you’re getting as a result from Google is another than the one you put in, you can be pretty sure that it’s a fake PageRank domain.
- According to my experience: I’m not sure why and don’t take it as a 100% truth. The best time to run is somewhere around 5:00pm – 6:00pm(GMT) This is when I find the most number of good domains.
Happy Domain Hunting
